Local/Remote Permissions

I have a JBoss which I can only access using "localhost" or "127.0.0.1". I've tried the public ip address (which I'm sure is routed to the box) but its saying connection not found. Any ideas?

Nevermind, I never bound the host of the server to an external ip address. Fixed the problem.
 
I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
