Open source java pdf library recommendations

Hi there,
Does anyone know if there is any good reliable/popular java open source pdf library out there? i have searched on a few but just thought i would ask others who have experience in pdf reporting generation tools. Thanks in advance!!!

I haven't used iText and the like beyond executing the provided samples, but this looks like a pretty good list of what's out there. Most people I've heard of are using iText or FOP but the rumor has it that the development of retepPDF will continue soon...
