Hi,

I have configured Weblogic, tomcat servers for remote debugging, but I am unable to configure remote debugging in iplanet webserver 6.0 SP2 running in solaris 5.8 (sparc). I have added the following lines to jvm12.conf:

jvm.enableDebug=1
java.compiler=NONE
jvm.option=-classic
jvm.option=-Xnoagent
jvm.option=-Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,server=y,suspend=n,address=8765
jvm.option=-Xbootclasspath:/usr/java_1.3.1_04/lib/tools.jar:/usr/java_1.3.1_04/jre/lib/rt.jar

On restarting the server does not create a jpda listener at the port specified (8765 in this case). I have tried various permutations and combinations of the options specified above, but with little success. I would highly appreciate any help.

Thanks in advance,
Janesh
