Can anyone tell me, which iPlanet Server I should use for LDAP, and there are also some Netscape APIs or di I only need the javax.naming packages?

the LDAP server comes inbuilt with the iPlanet Application Server. However you can use the Netscape Directory Server as your LDAP server, in case you need a standalone one.
