Can't Load Oracle JDBC Connection Pool Driver

I am having a problem getting iPlanet Application Server 6.0 SP3 to load the Oracle Connection Pool Driver - oracle.jdbc.pool.OracleConnectionPoolDataSource
I am trying to access it through JNDI and that seems to be working, but when the actual class try's to load I get the following error:
java.sql.SQLException: A. Couldn't load or create 3rd party class: oracle.jdbc.pool.OracleConnectionPoolDataSource
at com.netscape.server.jdbc.Driver.connect(Unknown Source)....
Here is the code that it is bombing on:
InitialContext ctx = new InitialContext();
ds = (DataSource)ctx.lookup("jdbc/" + dsName);
dbConn = ds.getConnection();
I have the oracle zip file (which contains the driver class) at the end of the app server classpath. (Took it out of the WAR file)
Do I have a classpath issue, should the WAR/EAR contain the file, should zip file not be located at the end of the classpath???
Please help!
