Hello,

We are currently using the Sun Java Application server 8 for our development and have not had any major problems. We are wondering if this server will hold up in a 'mid-size' ecommerce application?

This may seem like a dumb question -- but are people using this software for their mission-critical applications in a web production environment?

Any feedback would be appricated, thanks.

Hi,

Well,of course yes. Most of the company that I know are using Sun One App Server as their choice for their critical mid-size web application.
Should have no problem.
But, some of them prefer to use open-source technology app server like JBoss.
