NoClassDefFoundError

I'm using Resin 2.1.17 for development on Windows XP, using JDK 1.5. I am also using Apache-Tomcat v5.5 on same machine. When I run my web application on Tomcat, it works fine, but with Resin I get java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError for my Servlets. Is this a bug, or am I supposed to change some setting in web.xml?

can someone help?

Your web application should work equally well under either container. Where have you placed the class files that are fialing?

I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link: http://aspose.com
