Please do not post the same question to multiple forums: CarefullyChooseOneForum

As the Axis documentation mentions, its prerequisites are Java 1.3 and Servlet API 2.2. Apart from that, Axis is just a regular web app, and there's no reason why it shouldn't run in any standards-compliant servlet container.

Any servlet container is fine for axis.I have myself tried axis in jboss app server (which has jetty as the servlet container.)
Try with jetty.it should work as well.
