Hello..
I have downloaded the JDK with NetBeans 5.5 from the Java SE Downloads page
http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp
Everything installed fine and the IDE runs OK, That is until I click on debug a program. Thats when I get these messages:
ERROR: JDWP Unable to get JNI 1.2 environment, jvm->GetEnv() return code = -2
JDWP exit error AGENT_ERROR_NO_JNI_ENV(183): [../../../src/share/back/util.c:820]
It looks like something is missing. Does this version of NetBeans maybe not have the debugging software embedded?
Any know whats going on here?
thanks to all for your response
