Hello does anyone know what the real purpose of the verifier when deploying web applications with Sun App Server? All I know is it checked whether all the classes are present/linked ... besides that what else? I once deployed an app without verifier and works perfectly fine and with verifier doesn't deploy because of missing jars/classes.

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
