The best book on UML. Oh sure, you can buy the three amigos books, take a few years
to read them and if you can stay awake, you might actually retain something. This
book is an easy read and answers your practical questions. The author is the same
guy that wrote the "Refactoring" book at the top of this page. He makes any subject
come alive.(trailboss Jan 2000)

It's the only book on UML that I actually own. You can't go wrong with a Martin Fowler book. Short and sweet, it's a very handy reference. Recommended reading for the IBM OOAD and UML exam (Exam 486)
