This book is probably the most popular servlet book right now. It's an above average
book. And has some useful information. I felt many of the examples could have been
simpler. Some of the text too. Some of the examples and text had some outdated info.
Overall, I would say that this is a five steps forward, one step back kind of
book.(trailboss Jan 2000) Second Edition is now out!

Pounding at a thick stone wall won't move it, sometimes, you need to step back to see the way around.
