Additional requirements include: experience with protocols (HTTP, IIOP, RMIP, etc.), distributed computing, client/server computing, n-tiered computing, distributed computing mechanisms (RMI, CORBA, JNDI, etc.), firewall tunneling mechanisms, multi-threaded socket programming, server programming, XML (SAX, DOM, etc.), language data binding and schemas (with XML), JDBC and relational database experience. Also, knowledge of the following APIs: Swing, Servlet, RMI, core Java2, Collections, SAX, DOM, Reflection. Interesting. Required Skills and Desired Skills seem to both have XML listed. ASP is the tool that is going to be used or is JSP (Java Server Pages) going to be used? ASP is a Microsoft approach. Also, CGI and Servlets are not the same thing. "Web servlet (CGI)" <-- Is this implying they are the same? Thanks for your time, Michael Finney
