For those of you who are interested in attending...
The New York Software Industry Association (NYSIA), (,
is hosting the New York Software Summit and East Coast Summit for Java
Technology on January 21, at FIT in Manhattan.
The all-day event features 41 sessions, including a keynote address by New
York City Comptroller Alan Hevesi on the state of the software/information
technology industry in New York.
The Java Summit features 18 workshops in such disciplines as Platforms and
Tools, Emerging Java Technologies, Java in the Enterprise: E-business
Applications, Java and the Web, Java Fundamentals and Advanced Java
Techniques. Representatives from such companies as Novell, Sun
Microsystems, IBM and will moderate the panels.
