This week's book giveaway is in the OO, Patterns, UML and Refactoring forum. We're giving away four copies of Refactoring for Software Design Smells: Managing Technical Debt and have Girish Suryanarayana, Ganesh Samarthyam & Tushar Sharma on-line! See this thread for details.
I am trying to get a few people together for some free Model Driven Architecture training using OptimalJ. My company recently purchased a copy and I have been offered free training if we can get enough people together to justify the cost. There is no charge to anyone who wishes to attend.
The training will take place in Dallas, TX on the 13th, 14th & 15th of March 2007. 13th & 14th is for the core technology. 15th is for the Architecture edition.
OptimalJ is an amazing program that allows you to design your program at the Problem Domain and generate all code automatically, while still giving you the freedom to edit the code and dictate *exactly* how the code is generated from your models. It supports full round trip engineering, and I would strongly suggest you take a look, even if you don't want to attend the training.
You can find more info, and view the video demonstrations at the following url:
If you are interested, please contact Mark Bender of Compuware @ (713) 830-0606, and just mention that you're responding to the post about the training by Donald Tyler of Frazer Ltd. [ February 15, 2007: Message edited by: Donald Tyler ]
