Can somebody tell me how good or bad is the book More Servlets and JSPs,
by Marty Hall is? I am planning to buy it.
I have read the reviews of this book and also on this site, but I would like to know what the ranchers truly think about this book. I understand
that Core Servlets and JSPs by the same author is good, but is not upto the latest specs.
I have about 6 months of servlets/JSP experience. I have read some part of an older copy of Jason Hunters Servlet book and Professional JSP.

I have the more Servlets and Java Server Pages and think it is a very good book covering some of the more detailed topics in a very profound manner. I used the book initially after 6 months experience too and it was excellent.

Hey all -
I'm moving this over to Bunkhouse Porch, which seems more appropriate.

I am likig book "The complete reference to jsp" by Osborne in combination with beginning jsp 2.0 by wrox.
Former tries to put you brain in order by explaining clearly every topic, cross-refernces it with other topics, so you see that you adsorb the suff.
Letter is more like step-by-step tutorials with much less theories but with down to earth practice.
I cant imagine how i would manage without these two together.
Also, i have specs to servers and core jsp that is very helpful.
My next self sudy of ejb i will organaze similarly, i think.
Just my 2 cents.

IMHO, this is an excellent book even for experienced programmers.
