Question to Thomas on "Murach Servlets"

Hi Thomas,
I wonder when you reviewed the "Murach's Servlets and JSPs", did you actually install and run their s/w? It might be a silly question (I have little Tomcat experience for now), but their Servlet related stuff doesn't run on mine with Tomcat error 404 (resource not available). I closely followed their installation instructions, and their JSP apps run just fine. I'm using Tomcat 5.0.x instead of their Tomcat 4.0. I went to their web.xml file to check the servlet-mapping tags, but feel very reluctant about playing around with it.
I'd appreciate if you gave me a hint what's going wrong and where to look further for solutions.
Thanks.

Vad, maybe you want to ask this question in the Servlets or Tomcat forum? (I can't imagine that the instructions are so specific to the book that you can only be helped by someone who has read it too.)

Pauline, I've already asked this question on the Servlets forum and was kicked out to the Tomcat place. Nobody actually ever answered it there, and there's not much activity going on the Tomcat forum.
I also contacted the author of "Murach's Servlets", and he didn't know the solution either.
So, I went ahead and found it myself on Core Servlets

I did not try it in Tomcat 5.x but had no trouble in 4.x.
