Is Marty's "Core Servlets" geared towards new SCWCD?

I'd like to ask those who've read (and better yet, reviewed ) Marty's "Core Servlets": is it relevant to be used for the updated SCWCD exam preparation? From the table of contents, I've noticed a new JSP 2.0 specs section. However, I didn't see any stress on Servlets 2.4 specs.
