Thanks for the great interview. I was especially interested in the metacognition Q&A and started taking notes when you both listed the people that have done work in that area.

I'm currently putting my Java I & II courses on-line and am always looking for ways to involve the people taking my course. Your Head First Java has been a great inspiration for me and now I plan to look up all these other "people on the edge" ;-) to help make my on-line learning activities really zoom into peoples' minds!

I took a week long class at Sun Microsystems when I first started teaching Java. Suns stock started dropping after that and I've always felt I was the cause.... but now I wonder if it wasn't because they didn't allow cool words like "cool" and fun in their three-ring bindered courses... My guilt is cleared! (laffin)

Keep up the great work and thanks for the inspiration!

I wonder if *that's* why they were calling it "the PJ effect" internally...

And here I'd been so certain that the *cool* incident was the beginning of the end

Cheers and thanks for your comments! Have fun with your classes... I always loved *live* training.

Until someone reminded me (I think it was Michael Ernest) that *dead* students never ask the tough questions.
