Interesting point about love-hate relationships with your readers. When GM fell in the car business it was in a time when they designed cars to have the highest average score with consumers. Problem is they ended up with a high average but a lot of second-place finishes. Guess which car people bought, most times? You're right, #1. Leaving GM with a market share which steadily fell from 50% to 30%. Be prepared for a lotta imitations of HF, Cowgirl & Bert!
