Lead Software Developer

I have been retained to fill the position of Lead Software Developer for AltaServ, a client in Kirkland, Wa. The position requires the following:

Mandatory:
* 2+ years experience as a Lead in a software
development organization
* 5+ years experience in software development
* 3+ years experience in developing C++ and/or JAVA
applications in a Unix and/or a Windows/NT environment
* 2+ years experience in using PERL
* Experience with SQL (using C or PERL)
* Experience developing applications to run in an
Internet-based environment
* Ability to work very conscientiously and in a
self-directed manner
* Ability to take responsibility, and have a
significant impact on a business
* Ability to work successfully in a young, focused,
high-energy, start-up company
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Excellent teamsmanship skills
Would Be Nice:
* Experience with relational databases, especially
Informix
* Experience with Java
* Experience with development using 4GL technologies
* Experience with developing web enabled applications
The compensation for this position is $70K - $100K plus a generous benefit package, including stock options.
