Hola,
Great book on Java however, not for complete begginer in programming but expert level from any other language not required either; I think some javascript expirience would be sufficient... impressive explanations of Java's new features backed by straight-on-the-subject examples... maybe the missing thing are answers on exercises given at the chapters' end, but that's my impression.
Not long ago this forum had a corner just for this book (previous edition though), with Q&A's from the book... maybe it is still here but I can't find it...
Money well spend buying this book

Great bartender ... Though it was more like a game, like: "let me see your answers on such-and-such problem given in the book"
