I have been retained to fill the position of Senior Software Developer for AltaServ, a client in Kirkland, Wa. The position requires the following:
Mandatory:
* 5+ years experience in software development
* 3+ years experience in developing applications in a
Linux/UNIX environment
* 3+ years experience in C++ and/or Java coding
* 3+ years experience using SQL
* Significant experience developing applications for
an Internet-based environment
* A track record of �on the job� technology
acquisition
* The ability to be flexible to learning new
technologies
* Ability to work very conscientiously and in a
self-directed manner
* Ability to take responsibility, and have a
significant impact on a business
* Ability to work successfully in a young, focused,
high-energy, start-up company
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Excellent teamsmanship skills
* Capable of obtaining a federal security clearance
Would Be Nice:
* Experience with code revision and control systems
and tools
* Experience with Apache web server technology
* Experience with XML
* Experience with CGI coding in C and SQL
* Experience with SSL (Secure Sockets Layer)
* Experience with Digital Signatures
* Experience with credit card processing
* Experience with B2B web applications
* Experience with MS Project/98/2000
The compensation for this position is $70K - $100K plus a generous benefit package, including stock options.
