HF Design Patterns was an excellent book.
And the chick on the cover wasn't too bad either.

My vote is also for Head First series books
Can u suggest me best book for J2EE design patterns (practical orientation)

I vote for HFDP, but I wish HF J2EE pattern will come out soon.
