Hello,
I am an intermediate level java developer.I would like to get started with web development. I definately need a book with exercises and examples of ecommerce apps, etc.
Any recommendations?

Hey Rocco, welcome to Javaranch!

There have been a few books on jsp/j2ee/servlets mentioned in this forum. I did a quick search using the keyword "jsp" and saw links to discussions on these:

Hall & Brown: Core Servlets and Java Server Pages
Basham, Sierra & Bates: Head First Servlets & JSP
Murach: Java Servlets and JSP

Check out the nifty search feature (the link up there between the Post New Topic and Post Reply buttons) and you can see what others have had to say already.

Again, welcome and hope you'll be visiting the ranch often.

Pauline

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
