is there much different between these books?

the reason I'm asking is I can get a lot cheaper price for 1.4 version.

then, I am thinking to upgrade my knowledge using other books such as Java Tiger developer note or jump to New version of SCJP study guide by the same authors.

is it a good way?

thanks floks

Hi Tony,

Here's what author Bert says in response to someone else's question about the difference between the two.

Hope that helps a little.
