hi guys,
I'm a member of ACM association (a prestigious computer science association).they send me a monthly hard copy magazine called "Communications of the ACM".
the content of the magazine is very interesting and i enjoy reading it in my spare time. However the ACM magazine articles are more philosophical & don't dig to technical details of the IT field.
this encouraged me to search for another -more technical- magazine in the area of software engineering so it help me improve my skills & knowledge in this field.
i searched the net and found some good magazines .but i still hesitate & want you to advise me which magazines are the best in software engineering so i can subscribe for a monthly issue.

thanks.

Join the IEEE and subscribe to the "Software" magazine. It contains a variety of articles for the practioner. There are other IEEE offers that you may be interested also depending on what topics in SE you want to read about.
