Tired of searching of an ebook version of this one, finally
I got my original hardbound copy of this awesome book, how I wish it has an autograph from Ma'am Kathy and Sir Bert. Hey, I'm new here, I'm 22, hope it's not late for me to shift career, I'm turning 23 on February next year, Oh my golly I'm still stuck in SQA position .. I hope the people here are even friendlier than the other forum ... some older programmers from the other channel seems to be unfriendly sometimes, instead of getting answers from your questions, they'll throw flames on you..why is that? is it because they are certified already.. I'm gonna get my own scjp someday har har har...

Howdy Marvin,

Welcome to Javaranch.

We certainly are proud to be a friendly bunch here. That's our number one rule: Be friendly.

We do have another rule that we take very seriously too. That's the one you agreed to when you registered, the naming policy. Please take a minute to change your display to show two names, a first and a second. Thanks!

Best of luck with your certifications and hope you visit the ranch often!

Pauline

PS The original hardbound copy of that awesome book Head First Java is the only legal version available. Kathy and Bert may not have been able to autograph it, but they'll certainly be pleased to know you bought a legal copy.

I have edited my display, I included my surname now, but my picture doesn't seem to appear..why is that?

I see your picture in your profile. Pictures aren't supposed to display with the thread, so JavaRanch is working as expected.
