The Leader in Global Solutions Provider is looking for highly experienced Solution Architects (leaders and designers) for its e-Business integration services organization. Salary: 90K-110K DOE + Bonus Location: Santa Monica, CA Position/s: multiple Architects are needed to support the following practices: E-Commerce; E-Publishing; Middleware; and Back End Integration. In this position you will be responsible for the overall technical design, detail technical design, technical documentation, development/production environment setup, programming, unittesting, and delivery to production. All work will be performed at client location in Santa Monica, no travel is required. Required: - 8-10 years overall IT experience with 3-4 years experience in consulting - Hands on project management of internet and web-based commerce related development efforts (minimum of 2 projects required) - Microsoft Project98 - Leadership of a project using Net.Commerce highly desirable. Use of other e-commerce web-based packages may be substituted (or could be preferable) depending on engagement. - Is familiar with the following: - full application development life cycle - development tools (Coldfusion, Netdynamics, Bluestone) - e-commerce packages (Net.Commerce, Broadvision, Openshop, etc.) - Has thorough understanding of the following: - Architecture and infrastructure of the internet from PC servers to Unix environments (backend integration is a plus) including experience designing and developing overall architecture for the implementation of a multi-tiered solution - Experience with one or more of the following relational databases (DB2, SQL Server, Informix, Oracle) including solid database programming skills (SQL and PL/SQL) - Experience with one or more of the following: Visual Basic, Java, HTML, Perl, C++ - Experience with Unix/AIX or NT 4.0 operating systems - Pros and cons of internet development (security issues, payment over the internet, performance) - Client server architecture and database structures Client will fly qualified candidates in for interview.
