JUnit vs. SilkTest

It's looking like we may be "encouraged" to use SilkTest in the near future, this just after many of us had adopted JUnit for our automated testing.
Can anyone compare and contrast the features of SilkTest to JUnit? What's the deal with their 4Test language? Does SilkTest integrate with a build control tool like ANT very well?
Thanks in advance,
-tim

Nope, amazingly we were never "encouraged" to switch over to SilkTest like we have been on so many other things, like ClearCase from CVS/VSS, etc. So, still happily using JUnit

SilkTest is a commercial tool for running automated tests. I'm not clear on why someone would want to lock themselves into a commercial product for writing their automated tests. Other tools (like Parasoft's JTest) at least generate junit tests that can be run independently of the tool.

In any event, I'm moving this to our testing forum.

Lasse posted a good explanation on the differences between JUnit and SilkTest in this thread.

Thanks Jeanne... there's a good chance this thread predates the testing forum

Tim,
Thanks for pointing that out. I didn't notice the date on the first post!

At least Johny posted his question recently.
