Hi all,

I'm trying to help someone solve a problem they are having recording in JMeter. It's not really a JMeter problem more of a system setup issue I suppose.

Here is the email they sent me with the problem in.

"I access web outside organization using proxy(say 123.com:8080). To Setup the HTTP Proxy Server for recording, first I put the proxy (123.com:8080) there, but didnt record anything. Then I change proxy settings both in the browser and HTTP Proxy Server to "Localhost:8080". The JMeter did record fine. So my problem is since I cant access outside, how can i test a offsite application under this circumstance?"

Does anyone have a ideas on how this could be done. I'm stumped

Cheers
Steve
