regarding junit

Hi

Iam new to using junit....i need a small clearification....i jus have a beginner knowledge in java .....can i learn junit directly or is it mandatory to have good acquaintance with core java before learning junit

I wouldn't consider it a pre-requisite to have "good" knowledge of Java before starting to use JUnit. You do have to know some Java, of course, since JUnit tests are Java code but the vast majority of JUnit test classes tend to be really simple (as in they don't use many "advanced" language features).

It is good to see a beginner, learning with testing as a forethought rather than an afterthought. You may like to search out Test-Driven Development on google.
I also recommend that you learn how to build and deliver you code with ANT sooner rather than later.
