Title: Java Programmer
Summary
Guidance is seeking highly motivated Java programmers to help develop e-commerce solutions for an array of clients and products.
Responsibilities
�Provide insight and direction during architecture logic and design sessions
�Implement eCommerce applications according to specifications
�Proactive testing and stabilization up until rollout
Experience/Skills
�1+ years of software development experience
�Working knowledge of OO theories and concepts
�Understanding of programming languages like C, C++, and Java (jdk 1.2)
�Experience with J2EE technologies is desired
�Familiarity with WebLogic, UML, Rational Rose, Java IDE's, NT and UNIX environments, and Shell and Perl scripts is a plus
Education
BS degree in Computer Science or related field

Title: Technical Team Lead
Summary
A Technical Team Lead will lead and mentor a team of programmers and a database staff to create e-commerce solutions for a vast array of clients and products.
Responsibilities
�Translate UI design into technical requirements and deliver price for design based on known range of development tasks
�Provide technical solutions to meet client�s business requirements: credit card authorization, fulfillment, monitoring, Web site traffic analysis, reports, etc.
�Anticipate, document, and address performance risks and trade-offs
�Communicate clear performance goals during design phase
�Build proof-of-concept phase into schedule, complete with time/cost expectations
�Set and maintain client�s technical expectations throughout project life cycle
�Lead and manage technical development
�Administer stress tests prior to launch
Experience/Skills
Ideal candidate will have 2+ years of prior experience in the following technologies:
�J2EE technologies (Java, JSP, EJB, JSP, etc)
�Object-oriented analysis and design (UML a plus)
�N-tier architectures that integrate web applications with
databases and legacy systems
�Load balancing, security, and distributive data concepts
�Windows NT 4.0 and UNIX (Solaris a plus)
�RDBMS's (MS SQL Server, Sybase, Oracle)
�Successful completion of entire project life cycles; negotiation and management experience a huge plus
Education
B.S. Degree in a related field is strongly preferred
