File system based Open Source Bugtracker

Hi,

I would like to have a file system based open source bug tracking system on my machine, I don't want to install a database for this, but I also want it to be web-based, preferably written in PHP or Python. Please let me know if you know if you know of any system that suits my requirement.

Thanks a lot,
Srikanth

CVS (and/or Subversion) is very popular.

It is not necessarily PhP or Python...

Is this a Java topic?

Thanks M Easter,

I wanted something like BugZilla or Mantis. I already have finished setting up Subversion instead of CVS on my Linux machine. I now need an issue tracking system

My mistake, Srikanth! I read your post very early in the morning :-}

It's a good question. For one, I have not heard of a bug-tracking system based on the file system.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
