Project testing first time..

Hello everybody
I have never tested any project earlier and company has asked me to make a testing procedure and implement it for a project of 986 lines and make report within 2 days...project is based on simple gui applet and all that stuff.... how can i proceed it's urgent....

Well, it would be easier to help if I would have any idea about what kind of "testing procedure" you're talking about?

this is what they have asked me to do...they haven't mentioned any specific procedure...how should i proceed...

You tasks are to:
1. write procedures to test the IncomeTaxCalc.java program;
2. execute your testing procedures;
3. correct any defects in IncomeTaxCalc.java;
4. report the results of your tests.

Ok. So apparently when they say "testing procedure", they mean "test code" and want you to write unit tests. I'd suggest googling around for a JUnit tutorial.

Did the test plan include feature test and stress test?
