hi
Can any one suggest me any book to understand, know and learn the UML ??
Right now I am going through the Unified Modeling Language User Guide by Booch,James, Jacobson.
Any other book ??? as this seems to be very scatterd or required pre knowledge of UML... as what I know UML starts with use case and use case Diagrams .... but in this book chapter 16 talks abt usa cases...

Thanks a lot !!!
now one more help... can any one give some URL where I can find one good example(like real one) and all diagrams of UML.
I tried to search on google .... opend lot of pages... but could not found a good example for UML... what I found ....these examples are very small and all diagrams are not given...
I downloaded one example ... in that example only Class diagrams are there... others generally talked abt usa cases and give only one same repaeted one example of bank transaction.
If any one of you can provide some good example of using UML .. then it will be very help ful to understand UML ...
TIA

The Object Primer By Scott Ambler
is also a very nice book. It talks of OOAD in general and UML in specific.

start with Marting Fowler's book & then Criag Larman's book.
Miller page - jones ( oops with UML ). How can I forget that ?
Read the UML specifications then.
