Hi: I took the test this afternoon and passed with 85%. The exam is not hard. You just need to understand two books and one mock exam. But reading books for just one time seems not enough, I did 2.5 on UML distilled and 1.5 on Larman's book (0.5 here means quick ones). Right before the exam, I also went over all the charts on both books. And of course, some common sense, or work experience will be defintly helpful. A lot of thanks to all the ranchers.

Hi Tony: Please refer to IBM site for detail regarding the two books (Item 2 and 3), http://www-1.ibm.com/certify/tests/edu486.shtml You can get them from local bookstore, or borrow from library.
