Software Architect / Java Application Developer DUTIES: Candidate will lead the Design and Development of Server side components for the Broadband Printing System using J2EE technologies. Responsible for overall architecture, design specifications, coding, and debugging � this is a very visible hands-on position. Will also Mentor team members, guiding them in the development of Java Enterprise Applications. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (a must) Degree: BS � Computer Science or 5+ years of related experience. 2 plus years Java programming experience 2 plus years Java Server Side Technologies (J2EE: EJB, JSP, JNDI, JMS, JTA, Servlets, JNI, JDBC) 2 plus years Java Application Server experience (Weblogic) 3 plus years Sun Solaris, including development with Apache Web Server Exceptional Communication skills with technical mentoring ability is essential. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: (a plus) UML Design methodology experience Understanding of XML and issues related to EDI Experience developing �Content Feeds� for Web Portal personalization Experience developing Windows NT Database Experience (SQL Server, Oracle) LDAP / JNDI a big plus OTHER IMPORTANT CHARACTERISTICS: Must be self-motivated Must be detail oriented.
