Hi all,
I am not able to appreciate the difference between the factory pattern and abstract factory pattern. Both seem to do the same thing except that the abstract factory returns a group of related objects.
Is there any distinguishing feature that sets apart the factory from the abstract factory in terms of where they have to be applied.
Thanks in advance

A search on Abstract Factory in this forum should give you some discussions on exactly this subject.
