Java Engineer

The Java Engineer position will be involved with the design and
implementation of this Web-based Enterprise business system. We'll be using Enterprise Java Beans, Oracle and the WebLogic application server as foundation technologies. All end user and
admin work is done through Web browser interfaces. The individual pages are done in a combination of HTML, DHTML, Java and Javascript, put together by the application server.
Server side Java programming,Strong knowledge of object-oriented design patterns (Rational Rose & UML a plus) Multi-threaded, multi-tier application server architectures Java Servlets Database modeling experience for large systems, Oracle 8 from Java through JDBC,ODBC, XML, CORBA, LDAP, UNIX and/or NT
Proven ability to produce high quality code and systems
Traditional programming fundamentals (degree in CS is
highly desired) Good written and verbal communications skills Used to working in a fast-paced team environment
