Java Developer
Our client is an expanding financial services organization, based in downtown Chicago. (The Loop) They are commited to using information technology as a vehicle for business growth. They operate a seamlessly integrated open systems environment which incorporates Internet, Client/Server.and Mainframe platforms.
Use Java/Swing CORBA to expand and enhance a Data Capture/Formatting/Analysis function. The application acquires large volumes of information from public and private data bases, massages it to meet user requirements, and distributes it to clients internal and external to the organization via the Internet and various public/private networks. Code the caching proxy server (remote server). Development functions are executed on an NT platform and ported to Sun Solaris for testing and production. Rational Rose is used to transform the business rules.
Apply Object Oriented concepts and practices to development issues. Knowledge of Design Patterns is helpful..
Ability to create APIs to communicate with the GUI and backend system is essential.
Rate: to $100.00/hr
