Hello, My name is Jason Jacoby with Renaissance Worldwide, Inc in Houston, TX. We currently have an IT management opportunity with a banking client in downtown Houston. This is a permanent position for their Internet Services Team. This team is responsible for all Internet, Intranet, and Extranet development throughout the Bank. They are looking for someone with OO methodology experience, development experience, software architecture experience, and experience with object oriented technologies in a web environment. This will give you an idea of the environment: Framework is CORBA, Implementation is JAVA (they also use some VB6), Development Methodology is UML, Infrastructure is Unix and IIS Web Servers, Oracle Database, Netscape and Internet Explorer browsers, OrbixWeb object broker, and Design Tool is Rational Rose. This is a very laid back group and someone who is not going to be a micro-manager would work best in this group.
