Hi All
I have been studying the RUP for 12 weeks. I read books on The Unified Process and RUP. One Mock exam question i have been given is as follows -
Explain the perspective different UML models will give of the proposed system. (20 marks)
I am having difficulty understanding what the question asks for. Please can anyone help.
Thanks.

Hi Amit,
A complete answer to this question can be found in Martin Fowler's UML Distilled.
He has explaind all the perspectives in chapter 2 or 3. Just go through it and I'm
sure it'll clear your doubt.

Thnaks
Ali.

Hi Ali

UML distilled : applying the standard object modeling language / Martin Fowler 1997
UML distilled : a brief guide to the standard object modeling language / Martin Fowler 2000
Thank you
One more quick question. I see that you are from Bangalore, what are the job prospects like over there? Are there many software development organisations. I ask these questions because I'm trying to find one years work placement commencing September 2003, my aim is to find a placement away from england.
Thanks again

Hi Amit,
Its the second book that I was talking about as mentioned by Vikrama.
One more quick question. I see that you are from Bangalore, what are the job prospects like over there? Are there many software development organisations. I ask these questions because I'm trying to find one years work placement commencing September 2003, my aim is to find a placement away from england.

There are quite a lot of software firms here and some of them are recruiting also.
But majority of the openings are for ppl with more than 2 years of experience.
Though a few companies are recruiting freshers, but that usually happens through campus
placement.
You can also try in Hyderabad, Pune, Noida, Delhi and Mumbai besides Bangalore. Every now and then, companies do recruit freshers. If you keep trying for some time, I'm sure you'll land up with a good oppurtunity.

Thanks
Ali.
