hi all, i wanted to bu a good book on UML. to give my background, - i have done little UML (using Rational Rose) in my masters degree - i am a java developer, professional for 1.5 yrs and in school i've done java for almost 3 yrs so i'm comfortable with OO - i know OO Modeling fundamentals (i've read that famous Rambaugh book so to say). though i've not applied those really as u might know how these professional projects meet deadlines - i don't think i would need 'spoon feeding' sort of guidance in learning more about UML - i'm a thoro computer science major (bach. and masters) so i believe i can grasp things little easier - i might take IBM 486 exam about UML should i go buy "UML Distilled" by Martin Fowler? or if any other books will be more useful to me? i have read some reviews on Amazon but i really don't want to invest money on something which i find 'okay' instead of 'good/excellent' u know. please provide ur input on this. it would be a great help to me. i've been thinking about UML book for so long (i never manage enough time to figure out which book and buy it)... thank you. maulin.
