Hi
I would like to know which UML tool(s) are the most often used in the actual industry. I am moving into Java development from web development and wondered which tools are the most popular and why.
Thanks

I Agree... Rational is the most popular.

I think pencil and paper have a much bigger market share...

I find doing class diagrams and especially sequence diagrams on paper much easier than using one of the tools. I have tried using posiedon for sequence diagrams and found it very inconvenient to print them when I needed them for a meeting. I admit that I didn't spend much time on it but doing them on a paper doesn't really take any tools and far less stressful....

Call me old fashioned, I still prefer using fountain pen!

Hi
Me again. Some people have recommended Poseidon is this more widely used than the earlier tools mentioned?
Thanks
