Seems as if he's currently quite busy. He has only posted three messages until now, but is also uncommonly quite on usenet and the xp mailinglists.
I hope we will see more of him in the next days.

I am in Brazil, and finding it a bit difficult to get a good internet connection. When I find a good connection, I check here and answer a few questions.

No, at a client. They are keeping me pretty busy. I'm helping them with Test Driven Development and XP planning. They are starting to use FitNesse (http://fitnesse.org) to do their acceptance testing. Lots of fun, but not a lot of time to post on javaranch.

I see. And they don't provide you a good internet connection?

Nice to read from you, nevertheless!
BTW, if you could find the time to also take a look at the "Critics of the Agile Movement" thread in the Process forum...

They provide me a fine internet connection. They just don't provide me the time to use it. It's the Hotel and Phone System that is giving me trouble.

There's still companies out there without internet access...
In fact, I've worked for a group creating a large corporate website where that group would not have had internet access or even email if the project leader hadn't diverted some funds from the project budget to get a DSL line hooked up.
Company refused to provide internet connections for the building they put us in (we didn't have access to the corporate LAN either...).
In the end internal politics killed that project, as we somewhat expected would happen given the level of hostility from other departments inside the company.
