Metiom, Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst. JOB DESCRIPTION Demonstrated ability to design, re-engineer and implement innovativebusiness solutions based on the Metiom Product Line. A solid understanding of Internet technologies and protocols. Development experience with EJB, Oracle, WebLogic, and XML in an NT environment required. Experience with LDAP, SQL Server, and Unix is advantageous.Ability to drive cross-functional teams through all phases of project and program implementation. Ability to work, coordinate and communicate effectively on a global basis, to establish regional business requirements and drive process improvement. Ability to analyze business requirements and establish internal / functional processes as necessary. Demonstrated ability to migrate back and forth from very detailed levels of data analysis to high-level strategy discussions. A self-motivated and pro-active approach to problem solving. Excellent communication skills - writing, verbal, presentation. Ability to work with all levels of management throughout Metiom. Good interpersonal skills (e.g., negotiation, influencing, conflict resolution, etc.)Position resides within the Field Technology Services group SWAT team. The team is responsible for designing, developing and implementing quick strike technology projects that are generally sourced from the sales teams. This exciting position involves a broad range of technologies, from wireless devices, to object request brokers, to mainframes. The common and most valuable asset will be an ability to learn, think and solve systems oriented problems in a timely manner.Travel will occasionally be required. MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLSETS 1.EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND. Bachelors degree required 2.BUSINESS EXPERIENCE. 4/7 years in Development/Pre-Sales/Implementation 3.TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY. Java especially EJB, HTML, XML, Oracle, WebLogic, EAI Tools in an NT environment. Preferred: Unix experience, ERP systems. 4.MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE. 2 Years management as any level. Ability to drive projects and motivate employees. 5.OTHER SKILLSETS. Good communication skills.
