The candidate will develop systems using the following equipment: PC�s running NT operating system, Sun machines running Solaris Unix, and Sybase database. The specific skills required include Sun Java Certification, web server administration, web application server administration, strong knowledge of Unix, Sybase stored procedures and knowledge of digital certificates. A thorough knowledge of Web authoring skills is also required; the candidate will demonstrate web sites they have created using HTML, DHTML and JavaScript. Exposure to the full project life cycle is required. On-the-job experience required in the following specific development tools- JDK 1.1.7, JSDK 2.1.1, Kawa, JBuilder or comparable Java IDE, PVCS, and RapidSql (or comparable Database development GUI tool).
