-should have 15+ years in Information Technology specifically related to software development and implementation with at least 3 years deploying Internet Technology -Must have a background in database design and architecture -C++ development -Sun-Solaris -Oracle 8i -HTML -Netscape of Apache web server exposure -E-commerce site deployment -XML interface design -ATG Dynamo is helpful -Interwoven / Teamsite is helpful -Must have experience managing multiple vendor technology environments -Must have experience managing budgets in excess of 5 million dollars -Must be able to manage technology teams in excess of 25 employees -Healthcare experience not required, but a plus
-The Chief Technology Officer has responsibility for defining, developing and deploying the new products of the company -must define the technology strategy for all products being offered, designed or developed by our client. (This includes managing the review, selection and recommendation of products and services required to support the hardware, software and network solutions needed for product development, deployment and maintenance functions of the company.) -must define the standard XML-based interface used by all third-party vendors that provide services or products to the our client�s Internet products (sites). -Must review and assess technology platforms of potential acquisition and mergers of our client. -Establish and implement technology integration plans for all acquired companies. -Must develop and manage all technology relationships of both existing and potential vendors -Must develop and manage the technical product development and maintenance personnel -Must manage all technical aspects of new product or product enhancement launches -Must manage the daily operations of all product platforms including operating system, database, application and web servers layers -Must establish corporate office automation platform and manage day to day operations -Must manage the corporate office automation, telecommunications and network staff. -Should have a masters degree or higher in computer science or a related field and a minimum of 6 years senior management experience -Intimate knowledge and experience in IT -Must be able to stimulate thinking regarding the best ways in which to develop and market new courses and services to the IT marketplace -Must possess the requisite leadership, people management, P & L skills and clear headedness required to lead a major new initiative -Able to operate in a matrix environment that is fluid, dynamic, ambiguous and hard charging -Superior presentations skills in one on one briefings and large audience presentations as well as superb writing skills -Self-starter / and risk taker with the organizational skills needed to effectively drive change.
