The most imp books that you must read and are also recommended by IBM are.. UML distilled -- Martin Fowler (2nd Edition) Applying UML and Patterns -- Craig Larman (2nd Edition) Other refernce material that you must go through are Bala Pranj Guide : http://guide.zepho.com/version1/ Mikalai Zaikin Simulator : http://java.boot.by/magnet-mocker/ Bala and CFW quizez and larmon notes : http://www.objectsbydesign.com/tools/certification.html

For UML 2.0 I found best: Dan Pilone (with Neil Pitman): "UML 2.0 in a Nutshell - A Desktop Quick Reference", O'Reilly, 2005. Thomas
